I did the Snowmass Real Estate Caravan today. I saw a few things that I liked. I previewed two listings at Season's 4 which is located on Lower Woodbridge Rd., just across the street from Snowmass.There are currently nine listings at Season's Four from $399,000 to $825,000. <!--more-->Season's 4 Unit 126 is a nicely remodeled two bedroom, two bath, 994 square foot unit with vaulted ceilings, views of Snowmass Mtn. with good southern exposure and a large upstairs loft master for $399,000. It does get some road noise from Brush Creek road. I also liked the Joshua & Co listing, Season's 4 Unit 185. It is also a two bedroom, two bath, 950 square foot unit, completely remodeled in a nice contemporary style. The finishes were beautiful including granite, bamboo floors, custom fire place tile. Even the washer and dryer are high end. This is a short sale! It may take a while to close, but may be worth the wait. Many questions still remain about the future of Base Village Snowmass. I'm convinced it will get completed and when it does it will rule. I don't think anyone knows how long it will take, but it is in the best interest of all parties involved for it to get done sooner than later. You can't have rebar sticking out of the ground like it's Juarez at the base area of the best family ski/board resort in the country. When it gets done I believe there will be upside at Season's 4 and other condominium complexes in the area. When it does get closer to completion you can also bet there won't be two bedrooms listings for under $400,000. No telling when that will be, but if you want a nice two bedroom with pool and jacuzzi on the grounds and walking distance to world class biking, hiking, boarding and skiing in this price range these are two great options.
I saw two houses at Horse Ranch in Snowmass. 95 Trail Rider Lane had great views of Snowmass from Garrett's Peak to Brush Creek, overlooking the common area at Horse Ranch. Finishes are not as nice as 94 Trail Rider Ln. across the street that closed November 21 for $2,650,000, but better lot and views. Worth looking at if you are seeking a four bedroom, four bath, 3,600 square foot home with views, open space and close proximity to Snowmass with free shuttle.
Lastly I liked another Christie's listing 143 Meadow Ranch Road F-3C. This is a triplex end unit with excellent southeastern exposure, 1,238 square feet, two bedroom, two bath with huge storage area beneath unit. The unit is beautifully remodeled with granite, new appliances, bamboo floors, and custom wood built-ins. One of the best locations at Meadow Wood for $664,000.
