- The volume of sold Aspen condos was four times higher than the previous January.
- There were no single-family sales in Basalt indicating low inventory and the impact of interest rates. However, the Basalt condo numbers are considerably stronger than a year ago.
- The high-end properties, priced at ten million dollars or more, continue to drive the market with seven sales in January 2024 compared to just three last January.
- The inventory of Aspen properties increased by 35%, and 21% in Snowmass Village in January 2024 compared to January 2023.
- As of January 31, 2024, there were 23 whole ownership, free-market properties pending sale in Aspen, compared to 17 a year ago, a 35% increase. Furthermore, pending dollar volume in Aspen increased by 143%, suggesting a strong spring of closings ahead.
